THE NEW INTERNET COMPUTER
The New Internet Computer (or "The NIC" for short) is a $200 "Internet Appliance" -- essentially a simple PC designed from the outset to provide internet browsing capability in a quick, "setup and go" package, without the typical configuration headaches involved in maintaing a regular PC.

This makes The NIC the perfect solution for businesses that need to provide their employees with Internet access, either while on-the-job (to access information related to their work) or from home.

AttackGoose Interactive has a great deal of expertise in customizing The NIC to suit the specific needs of various clients, from hotel or kiosk installations, to deployment as replacements for "dumb" terminals used to access legacy mainframe applications. Let us show you how The NIC can be utilized in your business as a maintainance-free alternative to the PC for your employees or customers.

The NIC runs a custom Linux version of Netscape Navigator that can display all of the most common Internet content, including Java, JavaScript, Flash animations, frames, audio files (like MP3), RealPlayer video, and even Adobe Acrobat PDF files.
The device contains no hard-drive, but bookmarks, cookies, and browser preferences are saved into 4MB of non-volatile "flash" memory built-in to the unit. See the ZDNet Review (from April 2001) as well as the company and product website at www.thinknic.com for detailed information and specs.
